WHAT CAN WE DO TO "SAVE" OURSELVES?

    As I continue to study and  ponder the various dilemmas that confront humankind, one of the most effective long term strategies I've recognized is SYNERGY.

"the interaction or cooperation of two or more organizations, substances, or other agents to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects."

In order for something new to emerge in the human context, you need WILL, ENERGY, IMAGINATION

As individuals, we can supply the will and the imagination, but energy requires two or more.  Energy is always the result of synergistic relationship.

The potentials of human synergy.

Like two protons converging to liberate light, when two or more people synergize, power is released and the partnership can direct that power-that release of energy- toward the good. When you get enough people working in partnership doing that, it can become equivalent to the power potential of atomic fusion on the human interpersonal level.

Human relationships are the fabric of the emerging  evolutionary manifestation on this planet.

From The Urantia Book Ethical Sensitizers. It is the mission of these

seraphim to foster and to promote the growth of creature appreciation of the morality of interpersonal relationships, for such is the seed and secret of the continued and purposeful growth of society and government, human or superhuman."

There it is--the answer to the main problem we now face which underlies all the symptoms (climate change, dominance by oligarchies, war, inequality, racism--you name it.)

While love exists as BEING as and through each of us, it can only emerge as creative power when we join, especially when we synergize. In other words, we need to cultivate the morality of interpersonal relationships (as fast as we can.)

What is that morality?  Here i quote Jeshua From Love Without End by Glenda Green--Jeshua (Jesus) talking.

"Morality is change for the better."

"Morality involves a responsibility for the situations that arise in life and the willingness to confront them honestly and deal with them directly to cause an improvement."

"Love always seeks for betterment, for ways of making life more workable, joyful, whole, and beautiful. --As good a criteria for a morality of interpersonal relationship.

Until decay is exposed, there cannot be an improvement for the better.

And from The Urantia Book Jesus had the talk with Matthew in which he explained that the morality of any act is determined by the individual's motive. Jesus' morality was always positive.

In other words, to discern what is moral,  we must look at one's motive. Incidentally, in order to play a part in a play or movie, one needs to understand the character's motive. By understanding how actors go about doing that, we can apply those same techniques to the forming of quality interpersonal relationships.

Again from The Urantia Book  "You cannot truly love your fellows by a mere act of the will. Love is only born of thoroughgoing understanding of your neighbor's motives and sentiments."

Your motive can be toward life, union and wholeness--the love motive, or it can be toward separation and domination--fear driven.  

The decay mentioned above is deterioration of our psyches because of fear.

So the lesson becomes...how can we be released from the fear.  Here entereth A Course in Miracles--probably one of the more precise curricula for replacing fear with Love.

"All good teachers realize that only fundamental change will last, but they do not begin at that level. Strengthening motivation for change is their first and foremost goal."

In summary, the goals and the means are available to transform ourselves, our relationships and thus transform society and government.  Now we just need to stoke up the motivation.
